Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use Noveling at noveling.app, why we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and the writing app.

Who we are

Noveling is operated from the United Kingdom. For privacy requests, contact privacy@noveling.app or see Contact.

What we collect

How we use data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your book manuscripts to train our own public models; generation requests are sent to infrastructure providers solely to fulfil your requests.

Cookies and similar technology

We use a session cookie (or equivalent) so you stay signed in. That is essential for the app. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the marketing site.

Processors we rely on

Depending on features you use, we may share limited data with providers who process it on our behalf — for example hosting, email delivery, payment (Stripe), and AI generation providers. They are only permitted to process data as needed to deliver those services.

Retention

We keep account and library data while your account is active. You may delete projects in the app. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or billing reasons.

Your rights

If UK GDPR applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or request portability in some cases. Email privacy@noveling.app. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Children

Noveling is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated policy.
