One content policy
Literary fiction for adult readers. Profanity and violence where the story needs them — no gratuitous amplification. Explicit sex is not free-form chapter generation; use Patch explicit scene when your dials allow. Paying unlocks capability and cost, not a different morality.
Questions
- What are AI tokens?
- Each chapter generate, critique, rewrite, and scene patch spends tokens from your monthly allowance. Longer chapters and stronger models use more. Seed edits and exports don’t spend tokens. Top-up packs are available if you run out.
- When does the allowance reset?
- On the 1st of each month, UTC. Prepaid top-ups carry over.
- How does the Studio trial work?
- Choose Studio monthly at Checkout, add a card, and you get 14 days of Studio at £0. We charge the first month when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Yearly Studio and Standard bill immediately (no trial). One trial per person.
- Can I get another trial with a new email?
- No — one Studio trial per mailbox family (including +aliases). Temporary email providers are blocked, and we cap how many trials can start from the same network.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Open Manage billing from Account on a paid plan or during a trial — invoices and cancellation go through Stripe. You keep Free access and your library.
- Annual billing?
- Standard £90 / year and Studio £190 / year — two months free versus monthly. Prices exclude VAT. Annual plans bill immediately (no trial).
- Is VAT included?
- No — listed prices exclude VAT. Stripe Tax adds VAT at checkout where it applies (for example 20% in the UK), so Studio monthly is £19 + VAT.
